

Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliot, and MC Lyte are three people that are considered to be the three greatest female rappers of all time. Lola Luv and Nicki Minaj may be the next big things or the next big busts.
Fershgenet Melaku Aka Lola Luv and Onika Maraj Aka Nicki Monaj both have one thing in common. They are both going to be battlin’ for the top spot of Queen Of The Rap Game. Lola Luv is the new hip hop vixen from Ethiopia who is making some noise with Grammy nominated artist Soulja Boy Tellem. Their new song Anything I want has been making big success in the south.
She is also an up and coming model. She appeared on BET's fashion show Rip The Runway and won their Video Vixen of the Year award. In April 2007, she appeared on the cover of Black Men magazine and was named, the new "It girl" for 2007. Angel Lola Luv, as some call her, quickly became popular for her often questioned and highly rumored to be fake, physical assets. Recently Lola has announced that she is going to get into rapping a lot and is currently working on her debut album. She has also recently performed in several clubs along with rappers Rick Ross, Haitian Fresh, and Pleasure P. There has not been any information on as what record label has signed her, many suspect she will be on G-Unit Records. Others will say that she is going to sign with Soulja Boy’s Stacks On Deck Entertainment. No official date has been set for both the album and mixtape. Angel has been recently in and out the recording studio recording tracks and cutting tracks. She has so far recorded 8 tracks and can be heard online.
Nicki Minaj is a Brooklyn native and like Lola Luv is from African descent. Nicki Minaj. She graduated from LaGuardia High School in Manhattan where she studied singing and acting. She started off singing background vocals and hooks for local rappers. In order to stand out from other aspiring singers, she began writing raps, and started out as the lone female in a group, (which she left in 2006).
After appearing on The Carter Edition of Dirty Money's The Come Up DVD series, Minaj was contacted by Lil’ Wayne. The two collaborated on a number of mixtape tracks. In April 2007, she released her first mixtape, Playtime Is Over, where she posed as a Barbie doll on the cover. Lil’ Wayne appeared on the track "Can't Stop, Won't Stop". In 2008, Minaj released her mixtape, Sucka Free. Minaj appeared in the July issue of XXL magazine, giving a brief overview of her life up to that point in time. Later that year, Minaj won Female Artist of the Year at the Underground Music Awards. She has recently signed with Young Money Entertainment, acclaimed to possibly go farther than G-Unit. So with the skills these two Rap divas we will soon find out who will show that they have better recruiting talents, Lil’ Wayne or Soulja Boy…
