Soulja Boy Diss Was "Nasty"

A song called "Die Already" recently hit the internet, taking shots at Soulja Boy. This song was thought to be by Eminem, but we have found the real culprit. Dennis Maniatakis AKA Nasty, is well aware that his voice resembles the oh so notorious Slim Shady, and released a song adressing it in May, on his youtube page. He has also made a sequel to "Die Already", called "Throw It On The Beat", where he apologizes to Eminem for getting him involved. Earlier today, Nasty released a song called "Tired Of Bein' Broke", which leads me to believe he is going to try to extend his 15 minutes of fame, but I'd like to see more of him

The Game Sued Over Funeral Scuffle!

In July 2008, Compton Rap star The Game made headlines when he assaulted a cousin while attending his sister's July 5 funeral in California. Charges were immediately said to be pressed. Over a year later, we now report that the cousin, Robert Kirkwood, has officially filed against the Interscope emcee and Black Wall Street CEO. The suit includes four other people, and states that the rapper got physical after the millionaire was confronted about not helping to pay funeral costs. The suit is to cover personal damages, medical costs and more. The suit comes within a month of The Game's public verbal attack on Jay-Z, a story that's made headlines in Rap media, entertainment media and even NPR financial analysis. The Game has yet to comment on the suit.

Soulja Boy Impregnates Alleged Ex-Girlfriend!

Teenage Grammy Award nominee Soulja Boy wants the world to know that contrary to what the media is reporting , he has not impregnated a young woman. The “Crank That” rapper did a very long post on his Myspace to explain the situation yesterday. Here is what he had to say:

Whatever may be the outcome of these surrounding rumors maybe Soulja Boy as I’ve come to see might be creative and good in his type of music. I believe for Ringtone rap he has created popularity from it as T-Pain has had success from auto-tune. Eminem has officially denied rumors that he is the one who put out the new Soulja Boy diss "Die Already" which hit the net yesterday. "Wow," Eminem wrote on his Twitter Monday (August 3) evening. "Whoever made 'Die Already' really does sound like me. But it ain't me." In related news, Eminem recently dissed his ex girlfriend Mariah Carey and her current husband Nick Cannon the song “The Warning”. Eminem talks about Mariah Carey dressing up like him in her new video Obsessed, plus how the R&B singer continues to deny they had a relationship along with the threats from her current husband Nick Cannon.

Method Man shoots a fan......with a Pellet Gun??

M E T H O D Man is being accused of shooting a female fan multiple times as she waited to get an autograph from Meth at a Texas concert... with a pellet gun that is. A lawsuit was filed in Houston claiming that Mary Anderson had to get medical care for her injuries she says came from the long time Wu-Tang member.
Anderson says that Method Man shot her six times with a pellet gun out the back window of his tour bus as she was in line waiting to get her concert ticket autographed. Anderson says she "received no warnings prior to this incident and was without fault when (Smith) fired pellets into a crowd and struck Anderson in the torso." She says she suffered multiple injuries to her stomach and chest that required medical treatment. Anderson seeks punitive damages for assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and gross negligence.

Kanye took to his blog to clear up the rumor claiming that he was going after the late icon's title. "I was just listening to Wendy Williams and heard some quote about me saying I'm the new king of pop," Kanye wrote. "Not only did I not say that, I haven't said anything. It makes me feel bad that obviously I made people feel that I would be corny enough to say something so whack after the passing of an idol, a legend and more than that a human being with feelings and family. It scares me to think what people will believe, without even a source." After Drake re-injured his knee on stage, Chris Brown helped Young Money to keep the show rockin’ in his homestate of Virginia.
The R&B singer, who pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna, made an appearance at the tour stop in Virginia Beach. Chris Breezy came on stage at the end of Lil Wayne’s set.
Chris Breezy filled in for Drake supplying vocals for the hit Every Girl after his ACL injury and paid homage to Michael Jackson by moon walking on stage. Rumours of a possible signing seems to be just a rumor seeing that Chris has been in the national spotlight after assaulting his ex Rihanna.

Chris Brown Hit Rihanna But Broke The Bank!

Chris Brown may be broke soon. According to reports, Chris has kept up the rapper lifestyle without the rapper income. Could Chris Brown be the next celebrity to fall victim to the recession?? A number of people close to Chris are beginning to voice public concerns about his lavish spending given his current situation.
A close friend to Chris fears that the 20 year old singer may soon face a financial meltdown.
According to our the friend, Chris has spent well over million dollars in the last few months on legal fees, crisis managers and lavish spending sprees. And what’s more is that Chris hasn’t earned a penny since the incident with Rihanna.
The friend explained to us that Chris won’t start earning again until 2010 and that’s assuming everything goes well. If he doesn’t slow down and start spending he’s going to be in big trouble.
Someone needs to sit that boy down and tell him the pitfalls of lavish spending and how to make an apology video that‘s sincere.

Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliot, and MC Lyte are three people that are considered to be the three greatest female rappers of all time. Lola Luv and Nicki Minaj may be the next big things or the next big busts.

Fershgenet Melaku Aka Lola Luv and Onika Maraj Aka Nicki Monaj both have one thing in common. They are both going to be battlin’ for the top spot of Queen Of The Rap Game. Lola Luv is the new hip hop vixen from Ethiopia who is making some noise with Grammy nominated artist Soulja Boy Tellem. Their new song Anything I want has been making big success in the south.
She is also an up and coming model. She appeared on BET's fashion show Rip The Runway and won their Video Vixen of the Year award. In April 2007, she appeared on the cover of Black Men magazine and was named, the new "It girl" for 2007. Angel Lola Luv, as some call her, quickly became popular for her often questioned and highly rumored to be fake, physical assets. Recently Lola has announced that she is going to get into rapping a lot and is currently working on her debut album. She has also recently performed in several clubs along with rappers Rick Ross, Haitian Fresh, and Pleasure P. There has not been any information on as what record label has signed her, many suspect she will be on G-Unit Records. Others will say that she is going to sign with Soulja Boy’s Stacks On Deck Entertainment. No official date has been set for both the album and mixtape. Angel has been recently in and out the recording studio recording tracks and cutting tracks. She has so far recorded 8 tracks and can be heard online.
Nicki Minaj is a Brooklyn native and like Lola Luv is from African descent. Nicki Minaj. She graduated from LaGuardia High School in Manhattan where she studied singing and acting. She started off singing background vocals and hooks for local rappers. In order to stand out from other aspiring singers, she began writing raps, and started out as the lone female in a group, (which she left in 2006).
After appearing on The Carter Edition of Dirty Money's The Come Up DVD series, Minaj was contacted by Lil’ Wayne. The two collaborated on a number of mixtape tracks. In April 2007, she released her first mixtape, Playtime Is Over, where she posed as a Barbie doll on the cover. Lil’ Wayne appeared on the track "Can't Stop, Won't Stop". In 2008, Minaj released her mixtape, Sucka Free. Minaj appeared in the July issue of XXL magazine, giving a brief overview of her life up to that point in time. Later that year, Minaj won Female Artist of the Year at the Underground Music Awards. She has recently signed with Young Money Entertainment, acclaimed to possibly go farther than G-Unit. So with the skills these two Rap divas we will soon find out who will show that they have better recruiting talents, Lil’ Wayne or Soulja Boy…

The release date for Hov's new album is September 11, 2009(The same date that label mate Kanye West released his album Graduation, in a face off against 50 Cent's album Curtis, on September 11, 2007. D.O.A.(Death of Auto-Tune)was released as the controversial street single for Jay-Z's 11Th studio album, and Run This Town, has been named the lead single, and is featured on Jay's website.

Since Drake fell and re-injured his ACL and knee on tour with Lil Wayne,see previous post , a new twitter page has emerged... Drake's Knee. This page follows the life of Drake, and his knee injury, in the form of some very creative lyrics. Eminem hit up Mariah again in "Bagpipes From Baghdad," rapping "Mariah, what's ever happened to us? why did we have to break up?/All I asked for was a glass of punch/You see, I never really ask for much."
Recently Mariah released the first single to her upcoming "Memoirs Of An Angel" album called "Obsessed" produced The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. In the song Mariah talks about someone lying about having sex with her and being upset with her. You be the judge.
Eminem even hit up Mariah's current husband, Nick Cannon. "I can't imagine what's going through your mind after such, A nasty breakup with that Latin Hunk // Luis Miguel, Nick Cannon better back the f*ck up, // I'm not playin‘, I want her back you punk." Nick Cannon responded calling Eminem "Slim Lamey" and challenging him. "This is my invitation to you, whenever and wherever you like sir. So when you come out of your introverted hiding place and ask your bodyguards if you can go out and play by yourself, I'm here Pimp!," Cannon said.
Eminem dropped a new diss track directed at former girlfriend Mariah Carey, and her husband of the year Nick Cannon, called "The Warning" he takes shot after shot at the singer, from spilling details on sex acts the two had while dating and compromising pictures he has of the singer, and makes it clear this is a "Warning Shot". Other allegations include her being mentally unstable, and telling Nick he got played by Mariah. Taking even more shots at Nick Cannon, Em tells him to get his wife to stop taking shots at him, in reference to Mariah portraying him in her music video for her single "Obsessed", or he will keep going at them and claims to have "enough dirt on you to murder you". He also calls Cannon a faggot and mocks the Mariah Carey tattoo on his back. He returned to previous allegation he has made as well when referencing phone calls Mariah made to him in the past. The nicest thing said by Eminem in this song is a shout out to Dr.Dre, thanking him for a "sick track".

Best Fall I Ever Had!

Some say he is the messiah to rap music, others say he is the future of hip hop, others say Aubrey “Drake” Graham can possibly have a buzz as big as 50 cent did when he first arrived on the rap scene. Drake’s mixtape produced more than 600,000 downloads and a #2 song (Best I Ever Had) on the Billboard Hot 100. Drake has been living hi wildest dreams, but at the moment the only bed he will be staring at is the surgical bed. While performing Best I Ever Had with Lil’ Wayne on the America's Most Wanted Music Festival, Drake re-injured his previously injured ACL. After Drake tore his ACL few weeks ago, his doctors had told him that if he tore it again, he may lose the ability to walk. Still, the singer decided to perform three songs because he did not want to disappoint his fans. Drake told MTV News a night before his performance that he has been receiving acupuncture in order to reduce the swelling around his knee and will wear a brace for the performance. But, seemingly, the precautions were inadequate. Drake also told MTV News: "I didn't really get any approval from my doctor, but I made a personal decision 48 hours ago that I'd be letting a lot of people down if I didn't show up and at least show them I'm there for them."
After the incident Drake tweeted ,“On the bus laying down… getting surgery this week but I’m walking. Thank my whole Young Money family for the help!” In other news, it was confirmed Drake signed a record deal with Young Money Entertainment and Universal with a record breaking $2 million dollar advance. This followed what Billboard said to be "one of the biggest bidding wars ever". He plans to release his official debut album, Thank Me Later, in late 2009, and has confirmed collaborations with the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z, Danny! and Lil’ Wayne. This buzz king has a lot of catching up to do after his surgery but hopefully all will end well for this Phenomenal MC.

Can Jay-Z Play The Game?

After recently putting out a challenge to rappers all around the world to try out for his new rap group, The Game has picked a fight with Rap veteran Jay-Z. In his new Jigga diss “I’m So Wavy” The Game says, "This about Hov. Time to chop down the Roc and take it to the stove. D.O.A.? No. T-Pain stays, old n*gga goes...What you f*cking with Kanye for? D.O.A. n*gga? Please. I loved 808's & Heartbreak. Loved 'Lockdown' my sh*t." The constant references to Kanye West were made relating to the alleged screaming match between Jay and Kanye backstage at London's Wireless festival in the UK on July 6th. The Game has stated that he feels good enough to go bar for bar with Hov. He has recently cleared up the little shot toward Beyonce in his Jigga diss stating, “When I took that little shot at Beyonce, I basically was just freestyling and she just got hit. I ain't even gonna break none of this stuff down or none of that, I was just coming straight off the dome. That Beyonce line just came right out. I didn't necessarily mean to go at Beyonce, I got beef strictly with your boy Jigga Man!” After weeks of Game disses the Rap legend spoke out saying, “"We're all flawed human beings. All a person can do is apologize. Everyone should be allowed to make mistakes, it happens. I like the game, the game is changing all the time, I've been dominating the game. Now tell me exactly what I said, tell me exactly what I said. I said, 'I'm not talking about...' is that a diss? I'm not talking about you. 'Oh you hurt my feelings...' Tell groupie to get over it. If that's a diss, wear that. Tell groupie to get over it." The Game has not yet responded to Jay calling him a groupie but many believe something is bound to come from the Prince of the West to the current King Of New York.

The Death Of Autotune Creates Controversy!

When “Death Of Auto Tune” hit the sound waves of the Hip Hop World it started controversy faster than Vanilla Ice’s Career ended. It boomed to #24 on the billboard hot 100 and now rests at #77 on the billboard Hot 100, and #16 on Rap Songs. This Grammy Award winning artist has been caught in the middle of the latest feuds recently. We have seen him battle Nas in the past, but with that aside, has picked new enemies with D.O.A. G-Unit's own DJ Whoo Kid recently released a Jigga diss video called "Camelgate" in which he suggest Jay-Z looks like a camel. Why is he taking shots at Jay-Z you ask? DJ Whoo Kid believes that some of the lyrics were directed toward him.
When Jay-Z said "Stop your blood clot crying/The kid the dog everybody dying/No lyin, your n*ggas' jeans too tight/Your colors too bright, your voice too light" Whoo Kid created the video Camelgate. The Game made a Jigga diss as well titled “I’m So Wavy” where he rapped "I see you downloading my swag, camel face.” Well only time will tell if Jay’s album will be atop the charts or buried in the sand.
